Salter Insurance is an Independent Insurance Agency that was established by owner, Betty Salter in 1985. Salter Insurance was established and remains located in the small town of Ashford, located in the lower Southeast corner of the great state Alabama. This family oriented agency was founded on the principle of " the customer always comes first", and to this day in modern times, that statement remains our foundation and daily goal to provide the best possible service, loyalty and coverage to our customers. Salter Insurance began as a personal lines company and over the past 10 years we have expanded and put a large amount of focus on our commercial insurance department, specializing in the trucking industry.

Over the past 23 years we have established a safe, stable, reputable relationship with many commercial and personal insurance carriers. We are able to offer commercial coverage in 6 states including: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, and Texas. Our personal line coverage includes: auto, home, life, health, smart cars, recreational vehicles, motorcycle, yachts, etc., in the states of Alabama, Florida, and Georgia.
